The Adobe Design Achievement Awards honor the most talented and promising students in the creative arts. Adobe approached me and Matteo Bologna to create a comprehensive identity for the prestigious competition, as well as a promotional campaign for the 2005 awards. We conceived an extensive promotional campaign based on the theme of “energy,” referencing the youthful energy and enthusiasm of the participants.
The system we developed included an overall style guide that allows Adobe to maintain a consistent look for each year’s program, despite changing themes. The campaign for the 2005 event was well-received, culminating in a grand gala held at the Guggenheim Museum, with me and Matteo presiding as comedic masters of ceremony.
